Highly Trained Veterinarians
We attract the best and brightest in the industry of veterinary medicine. Our doctors are highly trained and compassionate.
Dr. MARK WILLIAMSON
Dr. Mark Williamson spent the majority of his career as an emergency vet in Michigan before relocating to Florida and joining the veterinary medical staff at Dunedin Animal Medical Center.
Dr. Williamson and his wife are the proud parents of a dog named Griffin.
Dr. DIANA DELGADO
Dr. Diana Delgado joined Dunedin Animal Medical Center in the fall of 2015. She grew up in the Tampa Bay area and completed her Bachelor and Master’s degree at the University of Florida. Dr. Delgado earned her BVM&S at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. (NOTE: ‘Dunedin’ is an ancient name for Edinburgh.)
During her free time, she enjoys traveling, nature, photography, and outdoor adventures. She’s happy to have found a new home in Dunedin with its strong Scottish heritage, which reminds her of her time in veterinary school.
Dr. ANDY DESTEFANO
A Florida native, Dr. Andrew DeStefano earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and graduated from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. DeStefano is eager to serve his community by helping people strengthen the bond they have with the animals in their lives.
Dr. DeStefano is married, with a (mischievous) Beagle named Ollie.
Dr. Kathleen Valle
Dr. Kathleen Valle joined DAMC in July 2020. She is a graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Long Island, NY. After attending veterinary school on the island of St. Kitts, she realized she is no longer equipped for the cold and therefore relocated to the Tampa Bay Area!
Dr. Valle is excited to work and help you and your fur babies!
Health, Wellness & VACCINES
Pet Vaccinations provide life-saving benefits. When was the last time you heard about a fully vaccinated pet contracting Distemper, Parvo Virus, Feline Leukemia or Rabies? When used properly, Pet Vaccinations provide exceptional disease prevention benefits for your pet with minimal associated risk.
5% OF ADULT PETS HAVE DENTAL DISEASE! Dirty teeth may smell bad, look bad and even be painful, but the damage that you don’t see is much worse.
DAMC Veterinarians are available from 8:00am-5:30pm, 7-Days a week. Emergencies are assessed when they arrive. Dunedin Animal Medical Center is staffed and equipped to manage most pet emergency needs. If it becomes necessary to refer your pet to a specialist, Dunedin Animal Medical Center Veterinarians will stabilize your pet and call the veterinary referral hospital (of your choice) and make arrangements for you.

VETERINARY IMAGING – RADIOLOGY & ULTRASOUND
Veterinary Digital radiographs & Ultrasound has become an essential component of a modern animal hospital’s diagnostic capabilities. Our dedicated veterinary imaging room is well equipped, quiet and easily cleaned.
Our surgery suite is specifically built to accommodate a veterinary surgeon’s access to three sides of the surgery table. For extended surgical procedures the surgical table has overload-protected heating elements built into the surgical table top. In addition a separate in-IV-line fluid warmer is used to bring all IV fluids up to the normal body temperature to help maintain a normal body temperature during veterinary surgical procedures.
